Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience:
this is the ideal life

This is my future contest entry about social norms. Yet it's too early to see how I've been thinking.
You see; it's the little details that counts, those who has not yet been placed.
It will be done in at least two weeks I hope. 

Something that is important to me when I paint is what kind of music I'm listening to.
It's mostly disney music really, to get the feeling out of that music to my paintings.
I've always been a sucker for all Disney music on the animated movies.
Also Dreamworks' music brings up all nice and comfy feelings that I want when I draw.

So, I've added one more to my "friend-list" today. She seems very nice, and that's what inspired me to do this.

Only, this was not the first one I painted today, you see, I did two ones earlier. But today was not a good day for painting. They totally failed. Both.

For my sister

I really do will miss you but, I will also be oh so jealous every single day.

 It is as if the sun rose one day and were a black sun.

My lovely and oh so beautiful sister drives off to Norway this sunday for a whole year. My parting gift? This.

So, this short, very fast made little animation is in 30 pictures.
I can't believe how long it really takes to do this, I mean, not that it's not worth it, because I think that everybody whose has once done it knows that it always is worth it. Always.

Oh, how I pity those who have not yet found their passion. 

For how I feel when I draw this knew life; this knew person that I can see right away who they are and that I have made them who they are, is indescribable.

About a love more faithful than the morning

Still no computer equals bad quality. Hopefully I'll have got it back for tomorrow night.

But until then; here's something else I've been working on these last days.

Walls we couldn't move they came crashing down

Once again, bad quality. But here's something I'm working on now. Just a small project. I love how determent he is. 

You think at first sight that he's someone bad, capturing all those birds. But when you look at it again and tries to see a story behind it, 
you start thinking that maybe he isn't as bad as it seems. You see when you animate/draw a moment with a certain character
you have to not only look at that exact moment, but also what was before and what will come after.
I'd like to think that he's on his way to free those birds in a very special place to him.
